Learn. Play. Grow. Together.

Where Little Hands, Big Hearts & Curious Minds Grow

Little Growth Lab is an online, hands-on developmental programme that helps children build the skills they need for the stage they’re in, the next stage they’re growing into, and ultimately, school readiness beyond academics.

Through purposeful play, we turn developmental goals into fun, guided weekly experiences where children can explore, build, move, create, solve problems and grow — while helping parents understand what their child is developing, why it matters, and how to support that growth at home.

And because parents already have enough on their plates, we take care of the planning. We give you the guidance, activities and tools you need, so you can spend less time figuring out what to do and more time learning, playing and growing together.

Now launching: Our Grade R Programme

Additional Little Growth Lab programmes for ages 2–6 are in development.

What We Do: The Four Pillars

Emotional Intelligence

Self-regulation, confidence, resilience, and empathy.

Fine Motor Development

Hand strength, coordination, and control through hands-on making.

Gross Motor Skills

Posture, coordination, and body awareness through movement.

Nurturing Minds

Curiosity, problem-solving, and early reasoning through STEAM exploration.

STEAM Explanation

We use STEAM — Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics — through purposeful play to encourage children to explore, build, create, test, solve problems and try new ideas while developing skills across all four pillars.

Developed with Purpose. Backed by Professional Insight

Little Growth Lab has been developed with professional input and review to help ensure our activities remain purposeful, developmentally appropriate and grounded in how young children learn and grow.

School readiness is about more than academics.

As children move into more demanding learning environments, they need more than letters and numbers — they need physical skills to keep up with a busy classroom day, cognitive skills to think and reason through problems, emotional skills to manage big feelings, problem-solving skills to work through challenges, and independence to take on tasks without being told every step.
Little Growth Lab is a hands-on early childhood program for children aged 2–6, built around a STEAM-based approach to four vital areas of development: emotional intelligence, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and nurturing minds.
At Little Growth Lab, we build strong hearts, minds, and hands.
Our goal is simple: to help your child start school not just ready to learn, but ready to try, think, and care.

How Little Growth Lab Works Each Week

Each week follows three simple steps. We guide the parent first, then your child joins the fun, and finally they get an opportunity to try their new skills with a little more independence.

PARENT GROWTH GUIDE

You go first | ±5 minutes

Before your child starts, watch the short Parent Growth Guide. We explain what your child will be doing, why it matters, what to look out for, and how to support them if they become stuck or frustrated.

You don’t need to prepare or teach the activity — we’ll show you how to support it.

LEARN, PLAY & GROW

Main Activity | ±10–12 minutes

Now it’s your child’s turn. Ruby, their Little Growth Lab facilitator, takes over and guides them through the week’s hands-on activity.

Your child may build, move, experiment, create, solve problems or explore something completely new. Ruby also models what happens when things don’t work the first time — because learning how to pause, try again and ask for help is part of growing too.

Parents stay nearby to support when needed, but you don’t have to lead the lesson.

THE GROWTH CHALLENGE

Try It Yourself | ±3–5 minutes

Finally, your child gets a short challenge that encourages them to use what they’ve just practisedwith a little more independence.

The goal isn’t perfection or getting everything right. It’s giving your child another opportunity to think, try, problem-solve and grow.

Need more time? That’s okay.
The videos can be paused whenever your child needs extra time to explore, build, practice or try again. Little Growth Lab follows the child — not the clock.

Matched to Your Child's Age & Stage

Activities are grouped by age — 2–3, 3–4, 4–5, and 5–6, so your child is always doing something that fits exactly where they are.

Support Every Step of the Way

Online parent sessions and additional parent-support opportunities are being developed and will be introduced as the programme grows.

It Builds, It Doesn't Just Repeat

Each quarter has its own theme,
so your child keeps building
on what they learned the
term before.

You're Probably Wondering...

Do I need experience? What if my child won't sit still? Is this really backed by real expertise? We answer the most common questions parents ask before signing up.

Therapy Boundary

Little Growth Lab is a developmental enrichment programme and does not replace therapy, professional assessment or diagnosis.
