Questions Parents
Often Ask

Do I need any experience or training to run classes?

No. Every class is guided step-by-step — you don't need a teaching or childcare background, just a bit of time and willingness to play alongside your child.

What age is this for?

Little Growth Lab is being developed for ages 2–6. Our Grade R programme is available first, with additional age programmes coming soon.

How long is each weekly session?

Each week includes a 5-minute Parent Growth Guide, a 10–12 minute main activity, and a 3–5 minute Growth Challenge. Activities can be paused whenever your child needs more time.

Is Little Growth Lab a replacement for therapy?

No. Little Growth Lab is a developmental enrichment programme, not therapy, assessment or diagnosis. If you have developmental concerns, we recommend speaking to an appropriately qualified professional.

What if my child struggles to focus or sit still?

That's completely normal at this age, and it's actually part of what the program is built for — the structure includes movement and choice specifically to support children who find focus hard.

Do I need special materials?

Our Little Growth Box contains the materials needed for the programme, making it easy to simply press play and get started. Everyday household items may occasionally be used too.

Is this backed by any real child development expertise, or is it just activities?

The curriculum is developed with input from early childhood development and occupational therapy professionals — it's built on real developmental principles, not just craft ideas.

How is progress tracked?

Little Growth Lab does not test or score your child. We help parents notice growth in everyday skills and behaviours over time. Development takes time, and every child progresses differently.

What support is available for parents?

Online parent sessions and additional parent-support opportunities are being developed and will be introduced as the programme grows.

What happens after I sign up?

You'll get instant access to your first term's content — no waiting period or in-person visit required.

Do I need to teach the activities myself?

No. We guide you first, then we guide your child. Your role is to support, encourage and enjoy the experience alongside them.

What if my child struggles with an activity?

That's okay — struggling is part of learning. We encourage children to pause, think, try again and ask for help when needed. They may not know how… yet.
